Am Dienstag den 01.08.2017 habe ich den Coat für das kleine Streetwear Label "Lushkill" fertig gestellt.
Es war meine Aufgabe diesen zu bemalen in den Motiven die ich normalerweise für die Levi´s Jeansjacken benutze. Ich habe den Mantel "The Prayer" getauft da er ziemlich Oversize ist und die Hände dann einen "Umarmen".
Drum herum habe ich gewisse Zeichen von Midnight gemalt und ein paar Sätze die entweder in meinem Kopf schwirrten während ich diesen Mantel bemalte oder ich mir dachte das der "Prayer" selber das auch zu dem Zeitpunkt hätte denken können.
Mit dem Satz wie "Paid in Full" wollte ich meinen Respekt äußern an Rakim der eine Legende im Rap Business ist. Sätze wie "I´m ready for War!" sollen zum ausdruck bringen das ich bereit bin für die Sache zu kämpfen für die ich stehe. Oder mit dem Satz "When Lush - kills what does Midnight does ?" will ich nur sagen das wir als Midnight Bewegung für mehr stehen als nur ein Schönes T - Shirt zu gestalten.
On Tuesday the 01.08.2017 I finished the coat for the small streetwear label "Lushkill".
It was my job to paint this in the motifs I usually use for Levi's jeans jackets. I baptized the mantle "The Prayer"
That's why I painted certain characters of Midnight and a few sentences that either buzzed in my head while I painted this coat or I thought that the "Prayer" itself could have thought that at the time.
With the sentence like "Paid in Full", I wanted to express my respect to Rakim who is a legend in rap business. Phrases like "I'm ready for War!" To express what I am ready to fight for the cause for which I stand. Or with the phrase "When Lush - kills what does Midnight does?" I just want to say that we as a Midnight movement stand for more than just a beautiful T - shirt.
